RAW2K is the UK’s number one online car auction site
Looking for the easiest way to save hundreds when you buy a used, seized or salvage Nissan auction car? Good news there - you’re in exactly the right place. Here at RAW2K, you’ll find plenty of used Nissan in our online car auctions, from timeless classics to relatively new models.
A globally-renowned manufacturer, Nissan builds vehicles known for their longevity, and in recent years it’s focused its efforts on becoming a pioneer of electric vehicles. At RAW2K we’ve got Nissan cars to suit almost anyone, from nimble city runners like the ever-popular Nissan Micra, all the way up to reliable family cars like the Nissan Qashqai.
How do our online car auctions work?
We’ve set things up so that it couldn’t be easier. All you’ve got to do is search, sign up, and start bidding. First, you can use our handy search facility to browse our selection of salvage vehicles and accident damaged Nissan cars to find your favourite model. Once you’ve got one (or several!) in mind, all we need from you are a few basic details for our sign-up process, and then you’re away! From there, you’re free to place whatever bids you want on our extensive range of Nissan vehicles.
Our auction cars come to us from various sources, including various insurance companies and the police. As a result, we’re able to refresh our auctions regularly, on a daily or weekly basis - so if you haven’t been able to find the model you’re looking for at first, it’s always worth checking back at a later date. You might be surprised at what you find!
A few answers to your car auction questions
- 1. What is a Category D car?
Category D cars fall under one of the four ABI categories for insurance write-offs. The term has technically been replaced, and today Cat D cars are known as Category N cars. It helps to see Cat N cars in context within the full list of ABI salvage categories:
- Category N (formerly Cat D) – non-structural faults
- Category S (formerly Cat C) – notable structural damage
- Category B – extensive structural damage
- Category A – beyond any repair. Strictly scrap only*
We don’t sell Category A cars here at RAW2K, though we’ve included them here for the sake of clarity. By definition, they’re too badly damaged to be of any use!
- 2. Can anyone buy a car at auction?
As long as they meet all the legal criteria! Our customers here at RAW2K span a wide range of demographics, including first time buyers, experienced drivers, professional mechanics, trade dealers, and hobbyist mechanics. If you’re on the lookout for a Category B car in British car auctions, you may find that you require a certain licence before you can buy one - it’s something worth checking in advance.
