RAW2K online car auctions in the North East of England

RAWK2 is the number one car auction site in the North East. Just register today to start bidding on a huge range of our used, seized and salvage cars, which are sold at the discretion of police and car insurance companies.

In our North East car auctions you’ll find all sorts of makes and models, including those from leading manufacturers such as Ford, Mercedes or BMW. One of the key appeals of online car auctions is that you’ll find none of the stress or hassle that you might have to endure while attending physical auction houses. These sorts of events can be notoriously intimidating and time consuming – not to mention initially difficult to properly follow, especially for first time buyers. However, with online car auctions in the North East, you can buy your auction car without even having to leave the house.

How do online auctions in the North East work?

It’s easy; just search, sign up and start bidding. All we need is a few quick details, and then our extensive range of auction cars in the North East will be at your fingertips! We’ve designed our site so that all the key information on every vehicle is laid out clearly for you to see. That means you don’t have to waste any time reading up on common jargon, nor do you need to worry about missing any vital information regarding its condition (as you would with the famously rapid-fire delivery of most professional auctioneers).

This makes online car auctions a much less pressured and far more relaxing experience, giving you plenty of time to weigh up your options. Just as well, as buying a car is rarely a trivial decision!

Quick answers to your car auction questions

All sorts! Here at RAW2K, you’ll find cars, vans, trucks and motorcycles, as well as caravans and motorhomes – all collected in our online vehicle auctions. Their conditions vary widely, too. Whether you’re looking for a new set of wheels or you’re just after a few spare parts or scrap, we’ve got something here to suit you!

This depends, too. Some of our auction cars are from private sellers, whereas our seized vehicles are sold at the direction of police. Many of our salvage cars, meanwhile, are sold at the direction of car insurance companies, who have assigned each one of them an official salvage title.

Essentially, different salvage titles are assigned to vehicles by insurance companies. The idea is that they provide an immediate indication of the level of damage. In October 2017, two of these salvage titles were updated with new names.

We’ve included Category A vehicles here in the interests of full clarity, but we don’t actually sell Cat A vehicles at RAW2K. For most of our customers, they’re rarely worth the time!

  1. What sort of vehicles can you buy at auction?
  2. Where do our vehicles come from?
  3. What are the different salvage titles (or salvage categories) for auction cars?
    • Category N (formerly Cat D) – non-structural faults
    • Category S (formerly Cat C) – notable structural damage
    • Category B – extensive structural damage
    • Category A – beyond any repair. Strictly scrap only
